Cancellations Due to Weather
Our Guarantee Against Bad Weather
Our predominant concern is safety. Should the weather be deemed precarious for yacht operations by our accredited captain, we offer versatile solutions:
- Full Refund: If rescheduling is unachievable, a total refund is provided
- Reschedule: Shift your reservation to another available date with no additional fee
- Charter Credit: Issue a credit good for one year from the original charter
Process for Weather Evaluation
We make use of the following criteria in our weather assessments:
- Analysis of wind velocity and patterns
- Assessment of wave stature and marine conditions
- Forecast of visibility and rainfall
- Coast Guard updates and announcements
- Professional captain's safety judgment
Decision Making Timescale: Decisions regarding weather-related cancellations are made at the latest 4 hours prior to the planned departure time.
Refunds in Medical Emergencies
Scenarios of Emergencies
We understand that health emergencies can arise. Special accommodations may be considered in cases such as:
- Sudden medical situations that necessitate hospital stays
- Passing away of a close family member
- Military orders or an urgent recall
- Summoned for judicial duties
- Natural disasters impacting travel arrangements
Proof Required
For processing requests based on emergencies, we require:
- Medical reports or hospital statements
- Official death record (if pertinent)
- Military dispatch
- Jury summons or court order
- Advisories or declarations of emergency situations affecting travel
Refund Process: We aim to handle refunds for emergencies within 3-5 business days after obtaining the necessary documents.
If We Cancel for Operational Reasons
Technical Problems
Should the chosen vessel encounter unresolvable mechanical issues:
- Substitute Vessel: We will seek to provide an equivalent substitute
- Full Refund: Provided if no equal substitute is available
- Partial Refund: If the substitute boat differs in terms of pricing
- Compensation: Additional recompense might be considered for any inconvenience caused
Lack of Crew
In the rare instance that certified crew members cannot be secured:
- We will arrange for an alternate crew, if feasible
- A complete refund will be issued if the charter cannot proceed
- Option to reschedule without incurring extra costs

Conditions for Credit
- Validity: Credits are valid for one year from issuance
- Transfer Rules: Credits cannot be transferred to others
- Value: Equivalent to the entire value of the charter without any administrative fees
- Utilization: Applicable towards any future booking
- Expiry: Credits must be used within 12 months with no extensions
Refunds for Partial Services Rendered
Disruptions in Service
If your yacht rental is interrupted or concluded ahead of schedule due to our actions:
- A refund prorated to the unused portion
- A credit equal to the unused value for future use
- Complimentary offerings or upgrades as compensation
Terminations Relating to Guests
In the event that a rental is ended sooner on account of guest behavior or breaches of safety:
- There will be no rebate for the remainder of the time
- Full payment is still due as agreed upon
- Supplementary fees may accrue
